A statewide conversation about the aesthetics, ethics and politics of food

For the next year – and beyond – the Mississippi Humanities Council will host and encourage programming throughout the state, from speakers and conferences to film series and book discussions, to inspire Mississippians to talk about and conceive solutions for the challenge of sustaining our local and global population, while also celebrating the unique cultural aspects of food preparation in the Deep South. We hope you will join us for a year of “eating, drinking and thinking!”
